Raindrops, confectionery, or your favorite frosted friend?
How about all three?!
Hey, it’s Sprinkles! 🍩👋 I’ve officially hijacked the blog this month. Someone handed me the baton (technically, it was a jelly stick donut), and I’m rolling with it! Spring is here, and I’ve got a lineup of adventures planned that’ll make even the most seasoned pastry jealous.
And here’s the deal: I don’t want to go solo. So, I’m here to sprinkle a little sugar on your calendar and see if you’ll join me for some sweet springtime fun.
Can I count you in?
Orleans Cherry Blossom Festival + Market in the Park (May 10)
Food trucks. Handmade goods. Live music. And an artist named Sugar Bucket. I mean… it’s basically donut paradise. Just don’t lose me in the sea of pink blossoms—I’m not tall, but I’m enthusiastic.
Heritage Museums & Gardens – Sandwich (Opening May 10)
Ever wonder what it feels like to be surrounded by thousands of flowers and vintage cars? SAME. This place is bursting with blooms and beauty—and I blend in surprisingly well with the hydrangeas. There’s also a carousel, art exhibits, and enough history to make even your smartest aunt go, “Oh wow!” Trust me—this isn’t your average garden stroll. It’s a full-blown Spring Awakening, donut style.
Take a Good Times Cruise out of Provincetown (Starting May 16)
Let me paint you a picture: golden skies, salty breezes, and me—Sprinkles—lounging on deck with the wind in my glaze. Whether it’s a sunset cruise, a lazy afternoon harbor ride, or anchoring near your favorite beach, Beth Ann Charters serves peak good times energy. I’m bringing SPF 50 (Sticky Pastry Frosting) and vibes. You bring the sunglasses and playlists. Bonus points if we spot dolphins—I owe one of them a rematch in Marco Polo.
Wellfleet Restaurant Week (May 28–June 3)
Yes, I’m a donut—but I enjoy the finer things. Prix fixe menus? Locally sourced seafood? I’m all in. If you make the reservations, I’ll bring the charm. Just don’t be surprised if I ask for a to-go bag and dessert.
Cape Cod Baseball League Opening Day – June 14 (All Across the Cape)
Batter up, baby! Opening day of Cape League Baseball is June 14, and I am ready. I’ve got my cap on (with a sprinkle-stitched brim), a tiny foam finger, and dreams of catching a fly ball with my frosting. These future major-leaguers bring serious heat—and by heat, I mean talent and sun exposure. So bring a blanket, grab some snacks, and meet me at the diamond. I’ll be the one heckling the ump (politely).
Provincetown Portuguese Festival (June 27–30)
I’m not threatened by Portuguese pastries (much). Maybe they can show me some moves at the samba drummers! This event is chock-full of culture, food, and community, and there’s really nothing I love more than people and treats! Do you think we get to go on the boats during the blessing of the fleet? I have a need for speed!
If big events aren’t your jam (get it?), we can always link up for a coffee, a donut, or some classic Cape Cod fun. I’m an excellent sandcastle topper.
So whaddya say? Let’s make this the sweetest spring ever. Tag me, DM me, or just show up. I’ll be the one with the frosted grin.
